Ñ! #ONE·LOVE is out now!
Huron’s bilingual magazine was recently recognized with the Seal of Biliteracy by the Michigan Department of Education. HURON GREENHOUSE CLUB
The Huron Greenhouse Club and their advisor, Mrs. Nicole Lemon, are looking for any parents that are interested in helping the club revitalize and maintain the community garden throughout the year but especially in the summer. The Huron Community Garden was established in 2019 and it had one great growing season before the pandemic hit and it was not able to be planted for two seasons. We were able to plant the garden last year with some success and it is our hope to get it looking beautiful again and to have another bountiful growing season. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Mrs. Lemon at lemonn@aaps.k12.mi.us. The Huron Greenhouse Club also recently had a plant sale for students during lunch but we still have some plants (mostly Jade, Aloe and Cacti) that are in need of good homes. If you are interested in purchasing a plant to support the efforts of the Greenhouse club, please contact Mrs. Lemon at lemonn@aaps.k12.mi.us. Platinum Volunteer List for the Huron PTSO!! No, I can't offer you miles or extra time in the VIP lounge, but I can offer membership on our Huron PTSO Platinum Volunteer List! This is an email list of parents who like to be the first to know when and where volunteer opportunities for Huron come up and will help if they can. There is no obligation to participate—just a willingness to be a "Call Me Anytime" and "I'll Help If I Can" volunteer. Interested? Please email me to get on this exclusive list:)--Margaret Baker, PTSO President (margaret@bakerstrategy.com). PTSO SPIRITWEAR DRIVE!Booster General Body Meeting
